A Catalyst for Change
The Ellanguaq, which represents “awareness”, is a symbol that has been in existence since ancient times and used on many objects such as masks, dance fans, hunting tools and handles. Today, it’s been modified with a yellow background and culturally accepted to represent the Yup’ik and Cup’ik peoples of western Alaska. Ours is a modified version by merging Ellanguaq with a lab flask to represent a "catalyst change" in science and technology innovation.
